SuluGrapesJsBundle – Visual Editor for Sulu CMS
Development and maintenance of an open-source bundle enabling the integration of the GrapesJS content editor into the CMS Sulu admin panel. This project addresses the lack of native ‘drag-and-drop’ editing in Sulu by providing a high-quality WYSIWYG experience.

Seamless and high-performance integration
The aim was to create a seamless blend of the power of GrapesJS and the rigorous structure of Sulu.
- Real-time synchronisation: Changes made in the editor are synchronised with the Sulu form, allowing the native toolbar (Save/Publish) to be used.
- Native Asset Manager: Reuse of Sulu’s media overlay (collections, search, pagination) directly within the GrapesJS interface.
- Image Format Selector: Dynamic integration of image formats configured in Sulu (
image-formats.xml) to allow contributors to choose the optimal resolution with a single click.
